WR. NEUDORF. In the past few days, numerous customers have supported the campaign in favor of the “feel again” association by purchasing special Sacher cubes in the Billa Plus markets. The sale of a total of 8,039 handmade Sacher cubes brought in 8,100 euros, which was then presented to the founders of the association. The donation goes towards special wellness mornings for women suffering from cancer, which include make-up coaching and photo shoots and give the women strength and self-confidence. “Without the support of our customers, this success would not have been possible. We are particularly pleased to have doubled the proceeds per Sacher cube sold from 50 cents to one euro and rounded up the total amount. In this way, together we were able to provide even greater support for ‘feel again’,” explains Harald Mießner, Billa board member.
“feel again”: make-up courses for women suffering from cancer
In September 2018, make-up artist Catharina Flieger and photographer Birgit Machtinger organized the first free make-up course with photo shoot for women suffering from cancer in Eisenstadt. Since then, feel-good mornings have taken place every month. There, the participants learn how they can conceal the external consequences of chemotherapy. Free portrait photos round off the program.
