Representatives for Bill Nighy say that the actor has no relationship with fashion icon Anna Wintour. The pair appeared arm in arm at the Met Gala in New York on Monday, sparking rumors of a possible romance.
“Bill and Anna have just been good friends for two decades. They have no relationship,” said a spokesman for the British Love Actuallyactor against the American Page Six.
Wintour representatives previously chose not to deny a possible romance, but did not want to confirm it either. “We think last night speaks for itself,” they said.
Wintour was again responsible for the annual fashion gala at the Metropolitan Museum of Art on Monday. This time the fashion designer Karl Lagerfeld, who died in 2019, was central. Well-known celebrities paid tribute to the German through their clothing.
