Boston Red Sox manager Alex Cora confessed this Sunday before Game 3 of the Division Series against the Tampa Bay Rays that New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick sent him a text message, wishing you good luck.
“That was the most memorable thing of the year,” Cora told ESPN. “I got the text message from a random phone code. To be honest, it feels great that someone of your status wished you good luck.”
Cora also revealed that Belichick also contacted him before and after the game against the New York Yankees, which further strengthens their relationship as Boston’s team chiefs.
