Here’s the unexpected transfer that could happen before the transfer window closes.
AIK midfielder Bilal Hussein is on the verge of being sold to Hertha Berlin, as the classic club negotiates with AIK to buy the midfielder off.
AIK is currently second to last in the Allsvenskan and is fighting to hang on. Midfielder Bilal Hussein has been a key player in the team for several seasons and has had to wear the captain’s armband on a number of occasions.
His contract with AIK expires at the end of the season and after being linked with a number of different clubs, it looked like the midfielder would stay at AIK and play out his contract.

Want to complete a deal within a week
But according to Sportbladet’s information, the classic German club Hertha Berlin has now set its sights on the midfielder and wants to buy him from AIK.
A first contact must already have been made and talks about a deal are ongoing.
Hertha Berlin left the Bundesliga in May, but have hopes of a quick return to the finer quarters of German football. Now they see Bilal Hussein as a priority signing before the window closes.
Sportbladet has unsuccessfully sought the player’s agent Hasan Cetinkaya for a comment.
