Earlier this week, superstar P! Nk (41), or Alecia Beth Moore as she is actually called, shared a very critical post on Twitter.
The experienced artist took a hard line against what she believes are children who are exploited by parents on social media, and named in particular Piper Rockelle, who recently turned 14 years old.
Rockelle has 4.8 million followers on Instagram, and there is one post in particular with bikini photos that P! Nk responds to.
«How many children like Piper Rockelle are exploited by their parents? And at what point should the rest of us say “it’s not okay for a 13-year-old to pose in a bikini when her MOTHER takes the pictures”, she wrote on Monday.
How many kids like Piper Rockelle are being exploited by their parents? And at what point do the rest of us say … “this isn’t okay for a 13 yr old to be posing in a bikini whilst her MOTHER takes the photo?!?!”
Several have responded to the post. Some people think the artist is on a wild goose chase, and that the pictures are not obscene.
“Hi P! Nk, you know we’re in 2021, right? Everyone can dress in whatever they want, fortunately in Latin America two-year-olds go in bikinis without being exploited. If you sexualize it, you have a problem “, a follower answers.
Still others agree with the 41-year-old, and express concern that parents contribute to lightly dressed pictures of children being available online.
“It simply came to our notice then. Parents who want to get rich due to child exploitation through social media are completely screwed “, writes one.

Answers P! Nk
Rockelle has also received the post for the pop star. The influencer tells the celebrity website TMZ that she does not recognize herself in the criticism.
– The first thing I want everyone to know is that my mother does not make me do anything. It is quite the opposite, I am a child with a dream and my mother is wonderful enough to help me live it, she says.
Furthermore, the 14-year-old says the following:
– I do not think P! Nk has seen a single one of my YouTube videos, because if she had done it she would have just seen me and my friends have fun and be ourselves. The content we create is something everyone can look at, she says.
