Bikfaya brings Rock closer to what politics has separated

A rock on the road to Bikfaya, in the area of Saqiyat al-Misk, opened a window in the relationship between the Phalange Party and Hezbollah.

The rock was almost a threat to the lives of people passing by and the safety of the residential building next to it.

In exchange for the Minister of Works Ali Hamiya rushing to the area to deal with the problem, President Amin Gemayel seized the initiative.

Gemayel said: “We are present to receive the minister and to honor him, and we hope that it will be a symbolic step, confirming the concern for the unity of the Lebanese.

Ministry of Public Works teams have started work on removing parts of the rock, and a retaining wall will be built later.

The Minister of Works Ali Hamiyah said: “The rock will be destroyed and two meters will be evacuated to preserve the base, and next week we will complete the administrative procedures to establish the support wall. “

For his part, the MP Sami Gemayel praised the response of the Minister of Public Works to the problem, hoping that things will move quickly.

At the same time, the Deputy President of the House of Representatives Elias Bou Saab said that the Ministry of Work acted quickly, despite the current situation of the ministry.
