Biker (67) seriously injured in accident in St. Martin

A serious accident occurred on Thursday around 4:45 p.m. on the B127 in the Rohrbach district: A driver (35) from the Amstetten district, who was traveling in the direction of Rohrbach, wanted to turn left immediately after the Erdmannsdorf bus stop. A 67-year-old motorcyclist from the Rohrbach district was overtaking a bus and may have noticed the car turning in front of the bus too late, according to the police.

The collision with the car was so violent that the biker rolled over several times and ended up lying in the grass about 20 meters away. The 67-year-old was seriously injured and, after receiving first aid from the emergency doctor, was taken to the Linz accident hospital in the Christophorus 10 rescue helicopter.
