Last Sunday, it was the start of the cycling section of Vélo 2000 Onet. No notebook or pencils, it is the mountain bike that you should have with you! The group took the direction of Gages for a warm-up of around thirty kilometers. Back to school, of course! But with summer weather and beautiful paths. A nice program that allowed everyone to enjoy the outing.
And this Saturday morning, it was the MTB school’s turn to start a new season. With certainly a smaller reception capacity, but the forty young people were happy to meet and well motivated. Thus, Christophe, the new trainer that the club warmly welcomed (it must be said that he already accompanied assiduously last year), took the group of young chicks. Julien took care of the pupils, while Sébastien was with the youngest and a few minors, and finally, Jacques with the minimes and cadets. This session made it possible to validate the composition of the groups. After a first round, everyone got together and finally very few exchanges were made. The next outings will be with fairly homogeneous teams. According to the coaches, the atmosphere and motivation are there. The parents, who accompany and without whom all the children could not be welcomed were also there and found that the pace was steady! Well done to all, the young people who arrive with a good spirit, the parents who are mobilizing seriously and the coaches available and committed for a new year full of promises!
