Brynäs lost after an overtime thriller against Bik Karlskoga.

Afterwards, the guests were irritated by the security inside the Nobel Hall.

– I have beer all over my body, says coach Niklas Gällstedt Gefle Daily.

2.40 into the first overtime, Albin Eriksson decided for Bik Karlskoga against Brynäs when the visitors had a pending expulsion.

It meant 3–2 in matches and now 2–1 in matches to Brynäs in the semi-final series, which continues on Sunday.

– It’s really nice. They won the match by a tight margin, so nice that we could fight back. It is rare to be part of matches like this in the Nobel Hall, says the match hero.

It was otherwise a rather jerky and messy match with a total of 36 minutes of expulsion, only twos, and where the home team was 2–1 deep into the third period after Hampus Plato scored the lead goal in the power play.

Lack of security

Johannes Kinnvall equalized with 1.20 left to play after the visitors took out the goalkeeper.

After the match, however, the Brynä coach was most annoyed by the lack of security inside the Nobel Hall.

On at least two occasions, the announcer had to urge the audience to stop throwing objects into Brynä’s booth.

– I have beer all over my body. Can I stand in the booth when I smell alcohol? I thought about taking the whole team off the court and into the locker room. says Niklas Gällstedt to Gefle Daily.
