2022 promises to be an extremely busy year for sports in Australia. The ICC T20 World Cup is set to take place in 2022 following interruptions occasioned by the Covid-19 pandemic. UCI World Road Championship (September 18 – 25)
The UCI Road World Championships has been scheduled in Wollongong, Australia, from September 18 to 25, 2022, about 80 kilometers from Sydney.
Over 1,000 of the world’s best cyclists from more than 70 countries will battle for the ultimate prize, including the honour of the rainbow jersey. It is one of the top five athletic events in the world, with over 300 million spectators watching from all around the world.

The International Cricket Council (ICC) has announced the dates and venues for next year’s T20 World Cup, which will be hosted in seven cities across Australia. The competition will begin on October 16 and conclude on November 13 at the Melbourne Cricket Ground.
Sydney, Adelaide, Melbourne, Brisbane, Geelong, Hobart ,and Perth will host a total of 45 matches. The two semi-finals will be held in Sydney and Adelaide on November 9 and 10, respectively.
Australia, England, Pakistan, Bangladesh, New Zealand, India, Pakistan, South Africa, and Afghanistan, have already qualified for the Super 12s, while the West Indies, Sri Lanka, Scotland, Namibia, and four more teams will compete in the first round. In January, the official schedule will be revealed.
This will be the first time a T20 World Cup has been held in Australia. Originally scheduled for 2021, the Covid-19 pandemic disrupted the preparations, but reigning champions Australia were able to retain hosting rights.
