Biggest entertainment to burn 240M SHIB; Over 132 million in Dead Wallet

  • Bigger Entertainment will burn 240 million SHIB coins.
  • The Bricks Buster mobile game will also burn 500 million coins tomorrow.
  • Bigger Entertainment had released the SHIB Burner playlist last year to burn the coins.

Meme coin Shiba Inu has taken a divergent turn where 131 million SHIB coins were sent directly to a dead wallet this week. The CEO of crypto entertainment firm Bigger Entertainment, Steven Cooper, tweeted a post announcing that 240 million SHIB will be burned tomorrow.

After that, the mobile game Bricks Buster will also burn 500 million coins on February 15. This will equate to a total of almost a billion SHIB coins burned during the week by both companies. Meanwhile, Cooper is pushing for $2 billion for the next milestone.

SHIB has had an increase of 0.53% in the last 24 hours, with a market capitalization of more than $16 billion. Furthermore, it ranks 14th among the top cryptocurrencies by market cap.

After the successful launch of the SHIB Burner playlist last year, Bigger Entertainment rebranded itself as ‘The First Crypto Record Label’. As of December 2021, Bricks Buster had burned 120 million SHIB coins.

The Shib Burner playlist includes Shiba Inu burning projects like the Bricks Buster mobile game and a coffee company called Shiba Coffee Company. Both projects burn SHIB coins by playing games and drinking coffee respectively.

Despite the burning efforts mentioned above, many other SHIB users are criticizing the burning, saying that the amount is not enough and that one billion is nothing against 549 billion coins. In fact, 1 billion coins must be burned weekly.

In response, Cooper added that initially, people thought burning 100 million coins was impossible, but now they are close to the 1 billion mark. The goal is to start burning in smaller steps before proceeding to big coin burns in a week.
