On June 8, Korean media outlet The Fact revealed several photos updating BIGBANG member TOP’s current status following his departure from YG Entertainment.
In photos obtained by the outlet, the artist was spotted filming content in Manhattan, in the heart of New York, with dozens of employees.

Unfortunately, it was difficult to determine exactly what the filming was for, given the tight security at that exact location. But according to local staff, the content of the shoot will feature the idol’s experimental work that combines movies, music and art.
Following confirmation with an official from the TOP side, it was revealed that the photos were taken in mid-May and he told the outlet:
“It is difficult to disclose the contents (of the filming) at this stage, but we are preparing this work as part of a large comeback project with global partners. It will also show you Choi Seunghyun (TOP) who is a singer, an actor, and a human being. »
As soon as the photos circulated on social media platforms, K-pop enthusiasts, especially VIPs (BIGBANG fandom) expressed their excitement as this will be TOP’s first time revealing himself to the public following his statement of independent activities outside of BIGBANG and YG.
This is also the first time that TOP’s personality as a solo artist has been captured and released.
