Big double-day weekend for Benfica’s women’s volleyball team, which, in order to “mathematically guarantee classification for the play-off” as champion, has to “be competent in both games”, says coach Rui Moreira, speaking to BTV. On Friday, March 1st (7:30 pm), the red team visits Sporting, and two days later, on Sunday, March 3rd (5:00 pm), they receive, at Pavilhão no. 2 da Luz, CD Fiães, in the 11th and 12th rounds of Series A of the 2nd phase of the National Championship, respectively. The derby, “a game of great tension and emotion”, he considers, “will be defined in detail”. On Benfica’s side, Rui Moreira wants a team that is “very focused and cohesive throughout the game, but, above all, in the final part of the sets”.
