In the new season in the NBL, the head coach of “Chernomorets” Vasil Evtimov will not rely on Jordan Tucker, Nikolay Titkov, Georgi Boyanov and Makol Moyen.
However, the coach of the vice-champion team already has targeted players who will not only replace those who left, but also surpass them in the game.
As is known, for the first time in the history of the Burgas club “Chernomorets” reached the final and won the silver medals in the 2022/2023 season.
This happened in the third year since the arrival of Big Vas in Burgas.
Next season, the “sharks” will play in the European qualifiers of the FIBA Cup.
Their ambitions are high in the NBL, where 12 teams will participate in the new campaign as well.
These are “Balkan”, “Chernomorets”, CSKA, “Rila Sportsist”, “Yambol”, “Levski”, “Akademik” Plovdiv, “Spartak” Pleven, “Black Sea Ticha”, “Shumen”, “Beroe” and ” Miner”. The new NBL season will begin on October 7.
