Big Time Rush concert in Tilburg moved to Ziggo Dome in Amsterdam due to overwhelming demand

The performance of the band Big Time Rush in the pop center 013 in Tilburg has raised so much interest that the band now has to change concert halls. The band was supposed to play there in June. But because of its success, the decision was made to move the concert to the Ziggo Dome in Amsterdam.

The members Kendall, Logan, James and Carlos are known from their sitcom of the same name and will make their debut on the Dutch stage in June. 013 was chosen as the venue, probably because no one knew how popular the band would be in Holland.

Ticket sales in February showed that many more fans than expected wanted to attend Big Time Rush’s performance. More than fifty thousand people registered in the digital queue. And although hall 013 has room for 3,000 visitors.

So many fans missed the point. People on social media often asked why the band wouldn’t play in a bigger venue like the Ziggo Dome.

Answered prayers
Their prayers have now been answered. Ticket holders received an email on Tuesday informing them that the show will be moved to Amsterdam due to its success. The Ziggo Dome can accommodate 17,000 visitors.

This means that there will be 14,000 more tickets. The new tickets will go on sale on Friday, April 26 at ten o’clock in the morning. Fans who already had a ticket for the show in 013 can keep their ticket or request a refund.

Mijndert Rodolf from 013 says that it is a pity that the band has chosen Ziggo Dome. “But we also saw that the show was so popular. So we understand that the band wants to hold a bigger concert,” said Rodolf Omroep Tilburg. “It’s a little give and take sometimes,” says Rodolf.
