Due to the delay in the work on a new series on BNT, the time proved fatal for the participation of one of our last legends on the stage – Tsvetana Maneva. She has surprisingly dropped out of the “Sofia’s Daughters” project, which was supposed to be filmed as early as 2022, but was postponed until next spring.
The great actress who was entrusted with the main role had to withdraw. According to the rumor, the reason is in her health, which during these two years has shaken quite seriously.
The new series tells a family story about a mother – Sofia and her three daughters, whose roles are entrusted to Koina Ruseva, Teodora Duchovnikova and Radina Kardzhilova. Already two years ago, it became clear that Tsvetana Maneva will play the role of the mother. This happened just a few months after the actress officially announced that she was retiring from the theater stage.
Ironically, to this day, the actress still continues to appear in front of the public, but is unable to take part in the series.
As soon as she announced that she was leaving the stage, it was rumored that the reason was a health problem that prevented her from fulfilling her professional commitments in the theater. Tsvetana admitted to her relatives that she has serious memory problems and cannot remember her lines.
„However, it is surprising that Maneva dropped out of the series, given that there are dupes and editing in front of the cameras, thanks to which all acting mistakes can be corrected. The only good news in the whole situation is that the role has been entrusted to another big star – Maria Kavardzhikova, whose fans will surely be happy to see her again on the small screen.
