Journalist Maria Tsantsarova was embroiled in a scandal and accused of plagiarism. She is the host of the new BTV program “Why, Mr. Minister”, but was sharply criticized by journalist Nora Stoichkova, who is the face of “Studio Economy” on Bulgarian Free Television.
It turns out that in 2014 she ran the column “Why with Nora Stoichkova” on TV7, which went bankrupt two years later. In her show, Stoichkova seeks the answer to the most important question – why, and clear current political and economic topics of the day.
Immediately after the launch of Tsantsarova’s “Why, Mr. Minister”, Nora erupted on Facebook: “Zheni Pavlova, then executive director of TV7, invented the” Why? “Column.
Today we see a remake on BTV. Why? ” Her friends supported her and even gave her the idea to condemn BTV for borrowing the name, but Nora Stoichkova did not go to court and therefore will leave the topic closed.
Besides, her column has not existed for a long time. Maria Tsantsarova’s publicist show “Why, Mr. Minister” otherwise started promisingly, with the pilot edition being watched by over one million viewers. The ambition of the TV presenter is to find the right interlocutor every week to talk about the hottest scandals, to answer the questions that excite people and to defend her decisions in front of the audience, writes “Gallery”.
