It is presently the fourth time that a huge normal gas discipline has been found off the coast of Cyprus. In 2011, the American company Noble Electricity also uncovered a significant purely natural gas industry in the Exclusive Financial Zone (EEZ) of Cyprus, even more east. Since then, however, a dispute has arisen with neighboring Turkey over the exploitation of fuel.
Because 1974 Cyprus has been divided into a larger Greek Cypriot section in the south and a Turkish Cypriot portion in the north. Only Turkey acknowledges Northern Cyprus as a point out.
