Big manhunt after a robbery of two gas stations in Harburg

Harburg. Two gas stations in Harburg were attacked on Thursday evening. At around 19:06, the two perpetrators initially targeted a petrol station on Nartenstrasse. The criminals, armed with a knife, were unsuccessful because the cashier refused to open the cash register. The two men suddenly fled. Eight patrol cars that had been alerted searched for the perpetrators in the vicinity of the gas station.

Just about two hours later there was another robbery, also carried out by two men. This time, the perpetrators meet a male employee at a petrol station in Großmoorbogen. Just a mile from the previous crime scene. As reported by the management and situation service of the Hamburg police, a small amount of money was stolen there. Right now, 16 patrol cars and a dog handler are involved in the manhunt.

Investigators focused on a garden association in Neuland. Despite intense efforts, the perpetrators could not be caught. Police now want to evaluate video material to prove a link between the two acts.
