Microsoft has had major problems with its Xbox services over the weekend. Both the night before Saturday and the night until Sunday, services were down, reports The Verge.
On Saturday morning European time, many players could not start digitally purchased games, stream games via Cloud Gaming, buy new games and not even run other apps that stream content.
The second break lasted from 22 o’clock on Saturday and was not clear until Sunday morning, and manifested itself in similar errors for players.
The problems illustrate how difficult it is to play your purchased games offline, neither when the servers are down or when you take the game console to a summer cottage or somewhere else you do not have an internet connection.
