Big downer for a couple in For the Same Money: ‘Hey shit’

Faris and Ishani live together in a small apartment in The Hague. It is still reasonable for two, but they notice that they lack storage space. In addition, they would like to live in a bigger house to be ready for the next step: a family. And finally, the house in The Hague is very noisy. Time to look for something else.

Natasha and real estate agents Debbie and Vinod have accepted the challenge and have selected four houses for the couple to view. One of the houses is the out-of-the-box house, in other words a house that does not meet all wishes, but could still positively surprise the couple.

The most important thing on the wish list is space. The couple has plans for the future and therefore would like to live larger. They want that in the form of three bedrooms and a garden. In addition, there is always a household issue to note in the house in The Hague. And they are tired of that. In addition, Ishani had an accident some time ago, so she can’t do odd jobs. That is why they want a house that is ready to move in. They notice that for their budget of 300,000 euros there is really nothing to be found in The Hague, so they consider Zeeland.

In the end, Faris and Ishani chose to go on trial living in a house in Vlissingen. The house is beyond their budget, but Faris and Ishani have fallen so madly in love with the house that they had to choose it. The trial living also went very well, so that the two eventually decided to make an offer of 315,000 euros.

Then Natasja comes by to tell them whether the offer has been accepted, yes or no. That turns out not to be the case. A big downer for the couple.

“That’s not a bad thing. No, I think we have made a good offer”, Faris responds immediately. “You can bid once, you can never expect it in advance. Unfortunately, we didn’t get it,” he says. “Actually sour, but you can’t linger too long,” Ishani says.

The couple remains positive for the future. “You just have to keep looking and eventually you will find another dream home.”

For the same money see you every Tuesday at 20:30 on RTL 4.
