Indra Bekti and Aldila Jelita went through various trials, the two of them had ups and downs guarding their household and cheering each other up when the storm hit. However, the foundation that had been built for a long time was in danger of crumbling after Dilla filed a divorce suit.
Through his attorney, Milano Lubis, Dila said that the two of them had indeed decided to divorce. The reason was because the two of them were not in line and the household could no longer be maintained.
“The reason is that they can’t get along anymore and they agreed to part on good terms,” said Milano Lubis when met in the Kebayoran Baru area on Monday (27/2/2023).
The two of them had not lived in the same house since a week ago. Indra Bekti lives in his old house in the Radio Dalam area, South Jakarta, meanwhile Aldila Jelita lives with her children.
“Bekti left the house for one week,” explained Milano Lubis.
Milano Lubis said that Aldila’s request for divorce was filed on Friday (24/2) evening. He finally met the couple separately. There, Dilla stated that he was determined to divorce Bekti.
“I asked Dila why, then ‘are you really ready or not, don’t you regret that it’s hard to be happy with Bekti all this time?’ Dilla said, “I can’t anymore, bro, I’m determined to separate,” he explained.
Dilla admitted that he was ready for the negative stigma from the public regarding this decision, especially since he had previously been attacked by netizens for making donations for his sick husband.
Furthermore, his lawyer also explained that the reason for the separation had indeed appeared a long time ago and was not a matter of reduced income or Indra Bekti’s condition.
“The public must have thought that because Bekti was sick, Dila left her income, it’s not like that. I’m sure it’s not like that,” he explained.
Indra Bekti and Aldila Jelita met in 2007 in Malaysia. At that time the woman was studying there and still had a boyfriend. Two years later, Bekti was again contacted by him, who claimed to have broken up and challenged him to come and apply to Malaysia.
On Dilla’s birthday, March 13 2009, Bekti was present and immediately stated her intention to get married in front of her in-laws. The two of them also plan to get married in 2011 after Dilla finishes her studies.
It turned out that Dilla graduated early and on October 10 2010, the two of them officially became husband and wife and have been blessed with three children to date. However, his youngest child, Kenward Athar Indrabekti, died not long after he was born into the world.
