Franceska Pepe was officially eliminated from Big Brother Vip 5. The girl, nominated together with Andrea Zelletta, Tommaso Zorzi and Adua Del Vesco, was forced to leave the most spied house in Italy.
In fact Franceska had to clash, in the end, with Del Vesco: the latter was saved with 17.9% of the votes, while Pepe with 17.8%. Few votes but they were decisive.
And it is right on televoting that the controversy arose on social media, mainly on Twitter. In fact, for days, web users have noticed that Many Adua Del Vesco fans came from Spain and started a real campaign to save the actress.
There are dozens and dozens of tweets in which Spanish fans convince users to vote on the site Mediaset to save Del Vesco. Many have also posted photos showing several phones connected to the site at the same time Mediaset.
A behavior that, if at the beginning it triggered irony, during the last episode it generated a real one protest by Italian spectators, who felt cheated and asked to reassess the outcome of the televoting.
Just the Italian fans have recovered the regulation on televoting published by Mediaset which states that you can only vote if you are over 18 and resident in Italy. A rule therefore that would implicitly invalidate all the votes arrived from Spain.
Some users have indeed argued that Spanish fans may have used little simple tricks (VPN) to simulate an internet connection from Italy, so as to be able to vote.
