Big blood collection during the Donation of Flowers for the Virgin of the Crosses by the Fraternity of Blood Donors

One more year, on October 11, the traditional Offering of Flowers to the Virgin of the Crosses will be held in Don Benito, just the day before she says goodbye to the patron saint before returning to her devotion. For this reason, the Brotherhood of Blood Donors of Don Benito-Villanueva, at the request of the Brotherhood of the Virgin of the Crosses, will collect blood in October next to the Church of Santiago, where the flower donation will take place.

In particular, the blood collection will be held at the Mercado de Abastos, from 5:30 pm to 9:30 pm.

The president of the brotherhood of donors, Francisco Javier Gómez, urges citizens to donate, showing how important it is to everyone, that we may need blood at any time. From the Brotherhood they remember how important it is to be supportive and to give to save lives.

The requirements for donating blood are healthy people between the ages of 18 and 65, weighing more than 50 kg and being in good health.

A gift of tickets to see Don Benito

The new thing this year is that CD Don Benito will be giving away tickets for the next home game to the first people who donate blood, as indicated by the president of the club, Enrique Olea. The game tickets will be valid for the next October 20 against Granada.
