Beirut – Salwa Yassin – Follow impartially: The Big Bang Theory star, Kate Micucci (43 years old), surprised her followers after revealing that she had been diagnosed with lung cancer.
The star shared the news in a video clip she posted on her Tik Tok account, in which she said: “Hello, everyone. “I’m in the hospital because I had lung cancer surgery yesterday.”
She continued: “They were able to discover it in its early stages. It’s weird because I’ve never smoked a cigarette in my life, so it was surprising. But the good news is that they discovered it in its early stages and were able to eradicate it.”
The star appeared at the beginning of the video clip sitting in a hospital gown on a chair, while at the end of the video she appeared walking in the hospital corridors, and in the last shot she appeared lying on her hospital bed, smiling, with a small box of cornflakes in one hand and a banana in the other hand.
Kate explained in the comments section how she discovered she had the disease, noting that she had done blood tests and the doctor noticed that the HCRP was high, which indicates the presence of inflammation. After further examination, they noticed a spot on her lung.
