The closing evenings of the Biennale des Imaginaires Numériques are dedicated to live performance and new digital writing.
They are produced in co-production with the Grenier à Sel of Avignon, the Pavillon Noir of Aix-en-Provence, the Friche la Belle de Mai of Marseille and the 6MIC of Aix-en-Provence.
`Guest artists engage with new technologies, imagine new immersive and interactive formats and address the theme of the night (theme of this 3rd edition) regarding our social relationships and social networks, hyper-connectivity and our nocturnal lives, our altered states of consciousness…
From Wednesday 18 January to Saturday 21 January 2023,
six captivating shows presented in Avignon, Aix-en-Provence and Marseille will make the Closing Nights an unmissable appointment of the Biennale, combining large-format performances and intimate proposals.
Among these, three creations of the CHRONIQUES CRÉATIONS platform will be previewed: Live Dream, the experiential installation exploring the modified states of consciousness of Justine Emard and Jean-Emmanuel Rosnet, HIKU, a performance-installation dealing with hikikomori, as well as Chansons de Toile, a transmedia performance conceived and performed by the collective La Pulpe.
Alongside these creations, the public will be able to discover the fascinating dance performance Second Body by the Taiwanese company Anarchy Dance Theatre, the immersive installation Crari or not Crari which offers a dip into the emotional and sensitive complexity of adolescence by the company Ex Voto à la Lune, in addition to Transient, an audiovisual concert for motorized pianos by the Italian artists Quayola and SETA. From November 10, 2022 and until January 22, 2023, 21 exhibitions are to be discovered at the Friche la Belle de Mai in Marseille and in a dozen partner venues in Aix-en-Provence and Avignon.
