Biedronka is introducing extended opening hours of its stores for two days from Monday. The reason for this decision is the fact that on Sunday, October 29, we had a day off from trading, and on Wednesday we will not be able to shop again. Some stores, however, will be open on All Saints’ Day. Where will we shop?
Biedronka has decided to change the opening hours of several thousand of its branches in connection with the upcoming holiday. Due to the fact that November 1, i.e. Wednesday, is a holiday and a day off from work, it was enough to include two days of leave per week to make a five-day weekend. The chain has come to their aid by extending the working hours of many stores, which will operate in an extended format or even longer.
From Monday, October 30, Biedronka is changing the opening hours of its branches. In thousands of Biedronka stores, customers should shop from 06:00 to 23:00 or even later. However, there is no exact scheme for extending store opening hours.
On its official website, Biedronka communicates the issue of extending store opening hours with a graphic message, the same can be seen in the chain’s stores.
“Dear customers, for the sake of your comfort, we are open longer from October 30 to October 31. The store will be closed on November 1, 2023. Check the opening hours of your store in the message on the door or at www.biedronka.pl” – we read in the chain’s announcement .
Changed opening hours before November 1 are not the only thing that reminds us that All Saints’ Day 2023 is just around the corner. From October 23, there is a promotion for candles online. “4 plus 2 free” speaks for itself – if we buy 6 candles, we will receive the 2 cheapest ones for free. However, the promotion cannot be used without the My Biedronka Card.
Biedronka changes its opening hours, but is closed on November 1. Where can we shop on All Saints’ Day? First of all, we must remember about those stores that are usually open on non-trading Sundays. It is worth paying attention to small local shops run by owners or Żabka chain stores. Carrefour Express stores that operate in the convenience format should also be open.
The same applies to the stores of the Intermarche chain, which opposes the ban on Sunday trading. By introducing reading clubs in its premises, the chain is able to operate on non-trading days. However, it is not certain whether the same stores that are open on Sundays will also be open on All Saints’ Day. It is better to check the opening hours of individual branches on the website or at the front door of specific stores.
