Biden’s Message to Kim Jong-Un: Hello, Period!

President of the United States (US) Joe Biden give a short message for North Korean leader (North Korea) Kim Jong-Un. The message was so short it was ‘Hello. Point’.

Reported by the AFP news agency, Sunday (22/5/2022), this was conveyed Biden to reporters in Seoul, South Korea (South Korea) before leaving for Japan. Biden is indeed traveling around Asia where Pyongyang is overshadowed by nuclear tests.

Biden was previously in South Korea for 2 days with President-elect Yoon Suk-yeol. They discussed a lot about the possibility of expanding joint military exercises to counter Kim Jong-Un’s actions.

Attendance Biden in South Korea indeed to show US power in Asia where recently filled with concern over North Korea’s actions. But Biden said he was not worried about testing weapons from Kim Jong-Un.

“We are ready for whatever North Korea does,” Biden said.

Don’t forget Biden gave a short message for Kim Jong-Un that he delivered to reporters. “Hello. Period,” Biden added.

Previously, Biden admitted that he had offered to help North Korea with a vaccine for the Corona virus (COVID-19), but had not received a response. North Korea is known to be in the midst of an outbreak of the Corona virus, with nearly 2.5 million people reported experiencing ‘fever’ illness.

“We are offering a vaccine, not only to North Korea but also to China, and we are preparing to do that very soon,” Biden said at a press conference in Seoul on Saturday (21/5) local time.

“We have not received a response,” he added.

North Korea reported its first case of the Omicron variant of the Corona virus earlier this month, and despite a campaign of a ‘maximum emergency’ epidemic, the virus has claimed the lives of 25 million people in North Korea’s population who have not been vaccinated.

On Saturday (21/5) local time, North Korean state media reported that nearly 2.5 million people were suffering from ‘fever’, with 66 deaths since the first outbreak of the Corona virus was reported. North Korea’s state media also said that the country was “intensifying” its anti-coronavirus campaign.
