Such cases, where someone has symptoms or tests positive for Covid after completing a course of treatment and tests negative, have been described as rare, but some medical experts say they may be more common than previously thought.
Paxlovid is an antiviral drug from Pfizer, which is used to treat high-risk patients, such as older people, reminds Reuters, citing BNR.
Biden tweeted about his positive Covid test on Saturday, saying it could happen to a “small percentage of people”. He later posted a video on social media where he said he was “feeling good” and “everything is fine”.
