Biden’s “Blank Check” application for Ukraine

WASHINGTON – US President Joe Biden said he expects US aid to Ukraine to continue indefinitely, but said aid to the country has limits.

Biden’s remarks came after Republican critics denounced the billions of dollars in arms shipments and money transfers authorized by his government.

He added that Washington had also rejected some long-range weapons.

“I don’t want them to start bombing Russian territory,” he said.

Ahead of this week’s mid-term elections, Republican House leader Kevin McCarthy promised that Kiev would no longer accept “blank checks” if his party hired Congress.
