The reactions to the report on Biden’s handling of sensitive information have not been delayed.
The White House defends itself by saying that the president was busy with the attacks on Israel when he was interviewed in October.
– Of course he was distracted, says an official from the White House.

Investigator Robert Hur, who was appointed by the Minister of Justice Merrick Garland, establishes in his report that became public in the evening Swedish time that President Joe Biden intentionally kept classified documents and disclosed sensitive information.
But that he will not be prosecuted.
The reactions from American politicians have not been delayed.
White House: Crossed the line
The White House calls the special counsel’s report “crossed the line” and that it is “wrong.” Above all, regarding the many notes about Biden’s memory. The report states that, among other things, he allegedly forgot what period he was vice president and what year his son Beau Biden died.
Special investigator Robert Hur interviewed Biden over two days in October. The White House has reacted particularly to the timing of the interviews, which began the day after Hamas attacks in Israel.
– Of course he was distracted and dealing with a crisis in Israel and the Middle East. To now go back retroactively and claim that this is about a problem with his memory is wrong. That’s just wrong, says a White House official.
Nikki Haley: Double standards
Trump’s challenger Nikki Haley believes that what emerged from the report regarding Biden’s handling of classified documents is full of double standards.
“The double standard is blinding. Both Joe Biden and Donald Trump have behaved recklessly with classified documents,” Haley signs X.
She continues.
“If Biden’s defense is old age and forgetfulness, Trump can easily claim the same thing. Trump should hire Biden’s lawyers quickly”

“Is it a joke?”
Republicans in the US Senate have not been slow to react either.
In a joint statement, they write that it is outrageous that Biden forgot so many important details, and that “a man who cannot be held accountable for the mishandling of classified information is definitely unfit for the Oval Office.”
On Platform X, statements are pouring in from shocked Republican senators.
“Is it a joke?” writes Senator Thom Thillis, who has published several quotes from the report on Biden’s memory.
“He doesn’t remember when he was vice president? But somehow he is qualified to remain president for four more years?” writes Senator Jowh Hawley.
Senator Lindsey Graham says he is concerned the report could damage America’s international standing.
“I have known President Biden for decades, traveled the world with him and consider him a friend. The special counsel’s assessment of President Biden’s physical and mental condition is something the American people must consider this fall,” he writes on X.
