Biden warns of a regional war in the region

US President Joe Biden, in an interview with CBS News, warned of the escalation in the region becoming a regional war.
Biden said, “I’m really working every day, with my entire team, to make sure things don’t escalate into a regional war.”
“But things could easily escalate into a regional war,” he said.
But the president emphasized that it is “still possible” to reach a cease-fire agreement in Gaza before the end of his term.
He urged President Biden to accept the ceasefire agreement he had previously proposed.
Biden, in his interview, said, “The plan that I developed, which was approved by the Group of Seven nations, approved by the United Nations Security Council, etc., is still appropriate.”
