Biden Thanks CIA for Revealing Putin’s War Plan

LANGLEY, KOMPAS.com – President AS Joe Biden thanks to CIA for warning the world about the President’s plan Russia Vladimir Putin to invade Ukraine.

During a visit to CIA headquarters in Langley, Virginia, Friday (07/08/2022), Biden also praised US spies for their bravery.

Marking the 75th anniversary of the CIA, Biden said he had been involved with the agency for 52 years Reuters.

Biden’s first involvement with the CIA was in 1975 when he was a junior senator. At the time, committees in the US Senate were investigating mind control experiments and other abuses by the CIA.

Biden said intelligence gathered by the CIA had exposed Putin’s plans and allowed Washington to warn other countries about war.

“Thanks to the extraordinary work of our intelligence professionals, we were able to warn the world about what Vladimir Putin is planning in Ukraine,” Biden said.

“Revealing Putin’s playbook makes a big hole in the pretense, and discredits his lies about what we did in Ukraine,” Biden continued.

Before the Russian invasion began on February 24, Moscow had more than 100,000 troops on the Ukrainian border.

On the other hand, Putin has repeatedly accused the US and the West of deliberately inventing a scenario to lure Moscow into the war.

Biden’s speech was in stark contrast to that of former US President Donald Trump, who made his first speech as president at CIA headquarters.
