The president’s campaign USAthe democrat Joe Bidenintensified this Friday his fight for the right to abortion with a new announcement which will be broadcast in Spanish and English in which a former military man criticizes the Republican Donald Trump for violating women’s rights.
According to what the Biden campaign told EFE, the new advertisement that bears the title ‘Strong’ in Spanish is part of a new seven-figure investment aimed at Latino voters with ads on television, radio and digital platforms, with a view to the presidential elections in November.
The ad, which will begin airing this Friday, stars Cesar Carreona veteran of Marine Corps and union carpenter Las Vegas who fought in Irak y Afghanistan.

If he wants to take away more freedoms from my daughters, he will have to deal with me first »says Carreon in the ad.
“I am with Joe Biden because he is going to return freedoms to my daughters”concludes Carreon, who in the advertisement appears surrounded by his daughters and also shows photos from his time in military service.
The ad will be broadcast in the key states for the November elections, Georgia, Michigan, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, Arizona y Nevadathe latter two with a significant proportion of the Hispanic population, so they could be decisive in deciding who will be the next tenant of the White House.
The Latino vote
Democratic senator Alex Padillathe first Latino to represent California in the Senate, considered that, precisely, taking away women’s rights does not make one “strong”, but is actually a bet against the “wisdom” and “power” of the Latin community that will backfire on Trump.
“Taking away women’s rights doesn’t make you strong, but that’s exactly what you’d expect from a would-be dictator who has spent his entire political career intimidating other people.”considered Padilla, according to the campaign in a statement.
“Donald Trump is betting against the wisdom and power of the Latino community. He’s a bad bet. In November, we will be instrumental in the re-election of President Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris. “They are two leaders who trust women, who respect our community and who fight every day for our rights.”added the senator.
In June 2022, the Supreme Court overturned the ruling ‘Roe contra Wade’ that for half a century had protected the reproductive rights of women and, in this way, gave free rein to states to prohibit abortion or set their own rules on the matter.
Abortion could end up being one of Trump’s weaknesses in the November elections, as many independent voters reject government intervention in reproductive rights.
Biden’s campaign has framed the defense of reproductive rights as a fight for freedom and has held Trump responsible for the end of ‘Roe v. Wade’ because he appointed three of the nine judges who ended abortion protections.
Abortion rights helped Democrats do better than expected in the 2022 midterm elections, and the Biden campaign is confident this will be repeated in November. EFE (I)
