Biden canceled Trump’s plan for Alaska

The Biden administration is revising what was initiated by the Trump administration rental plan on much of Alaska’s public land for oil and gas, CNBC reported.

The decision of the US Bureau of Land Management yes withdraw the former initiative, proposed by Donald Trump, is related to the Obama administration’s plan to use 52% of the land of the Alaska National Oil Reserve, as opposed to 82% proposed by the Trump administration.

The choice of the US Bureau of Land Management is largely motivated by wildlife conservation in the federal stateespecially caribou and polar bears.
