North Carolina, Raleigh- President Joe Biden visited the city of Raleigh to encourage vaccination against Covid-19 in minorities.
Biden, expressed that “getting vaccinated is the best way to protect yourself from Covid-19 to guarantee a return to normal life.”
The President spoke today afternoon at the Green Road Community Center with the presence, among others, of volunteers and frontline workers and local non-profit organizations that have been helping to administer vaccines in the Triangle.
“I wanted to come to Raleigh to thank everyone in this room for all they are doing to vaccinate their community, ”said Biden.
“It matters. You are saving lives and that is not an exaggeration, “he added.

Community approach
A week ago, Dr. Webb and Michael S. Regan, Administrator of the United States Environmental Protection Agency, were the White House officials who came to the Triangle to reinvigorate vaccination efforts against Covid-19.
