Biden approved secret US nuclear strategy in March – media

In March, President Joe Biden approved a classified US nuclear strategic plan that for the first time refocuses the US deterrence strategy on the rapid expansion of China’s nuclear arsenal.

In June, the National Security Council’s director general for arms control and non-proliferation, Pranay Vaddi, also referred to the document, which analyzed for the first time whether the United States is prepared to deal with a nuclear crisis that will detonating simultaneously or in sequence using a combination of nuclear and non-nuclear weapons.
