Donald Trump and Joe Biden held their second and final election debate in Nashville. They immediately painted a completely different picture of the corona crisis.
According to Trump, the crisis is coming to an end and he is receiving congratulations from world leaders for how he has handled the crisis. He also referred to his own contamination. “I can tell you from my own experience. I was in the hospital, but I’m better now, otherwise I wouldn’t be here.”
Biden immediately attacked the president on his image of the pandemic. “The president says we’re learning to live with this? We’re learning to die with this,” said Biden.
“If you remember one thing tonight, remember this: Anyone who has no plan for this, who is not taking responsibility for it, cannot stay on as president.” He said he wanted to make face masks mandatory, to test faster and to arrange financial assistance for companies.
