Bidding from 80 euros: the trade in F1 pass tickets on Marktplaats has started | Inland

The passes are intended for residents of the circuit. Parts of Zandvoort, Bloemendaal, Aerdenhout and Overveen and the Haarlem Ramplaankwartier will be closed to motorized vehicles from the night of Wednesday to Thursday or from Thursday evening. The municipality is doing this to prevent car traffic and parking nuisance during the Formula 1 weekend.

Some of the residents have already received the passes in the letterbox. Some got too many, partly after mistakes by the municipality of Zandvoort in merging data files.

80 euro

A number of passes have now ended up on Marktplaats. “With this pass you can still drive by car on the mostly closed roads around Zandvoort during the Formula 1 days,” writes Nomadbiggyboy in the advertisement. ‘I have two, so bid each.’ Bidding starts from 80 euros.

The municipality of Zandvoort does not seem to be concerned about fraud with the passes. She says that in Zandvoort only parking with a parking permit or on private property is allowed. ‘A pass is not yet a parking permit.’ But in the surrounding municipalities, such as Bloemendaal, parking is allowed. This area is referred to as ‘Ring 3’.

Marketplace is responding to this. ‘I am selling my two entry and exit tickets to park within Ring 3 Zuid. Less than thirty minutes by bike to the circuit’, says an advertisement by Marktplaatser TvB. ‘You can’t park closer to the circuit.’ No bid has been placed on it yet, but another advertisement has: 50 euros.

A concerned resident warns interested parties with a Marktplaats advertisement: don’t fall for it. ‘You can only park in Zandvoort with a permit. Also for ring 3 it will cause a lot of parking trouble for residents in those areas. There are twelve trains an hour, come by train!’
