FC Twente has said goodbye to Jorn Brondeel, who is leaving for Willem II. Jan Streuer, technical director of the Tukkers, says this is a financial story.
“That also has to do with the finances. You can say we go for certainty and with four keepers in the competition. But you can also”, Streuer starts at RTV East. “We have now said that we are going to do it with three goalkeepers. Only if Drommel leaves, then another goalkeeper has to be added.”
The interest in Joel Drommel has become concrete, but an offer has been rejected. “An English club has reported for Drommel. But that was not interesting at all”, Streuer concludes about the FC Twente goalie.
