Bickering, Netanyahu Silences Israelis Who Shout ‘PM Bennett Must Die’

TEL AVIV – Former Prime Minister (PM) of Israel Benjamin netanyahu got into an argument at a political event he led after one of the participants shouted “PM Naftali Bennett must die”.

The incident occurred as Netanyahu was speaking at a youth event in Tel Aviv for the Likud Party on Thursday evening. Netanyahu himself is the leader of the Likud Party.

A brief video of the altercation shows Netanyahu speaking to the crowd before an individual from the crowd shouts, “Bennett and Lapid must die”.

Bennett is Israel’s new prime minister who replaced Netanyahu after the Netanyahu coalition lost the Knesset vote. Meanwhile, Yair Lapid is Israel’s Foreign Minister and will be Israel’s PM replacing Bennett in a few years according to the coalition agreement.

Hearing the shout, Netanyahu without hesitation rejected it. He then clashed with the person who shouted.
