Biathlon World Cup stage. Sprint for men / Article / LSM.lv

The World Cup season in biathlon continues with the second stage in Kontiolahti, Finland, where men, including the leader of the Latvian national team Andrejs Rastorgujevs, will start in the first 10-kilometer sprint on Thursday. The race can be seen live on LTV7 and replay.lv.

Latvia is represented by three biathletes – Rastorgujev starts with the 26th number, but Robert Slotiņš and Kirill Matjuhin are awarded 85th and 105th positions in the start protocol, respectively, in the competition of 107 entered participants.

Later on Thursday, women will compete in the 7.5-kilometer sprint – Latvian biathlete Annija Keita Sabule will also start.

In the continuation of the stage, on Saturday the race will be in the driving distance for men and in the relay for women, while on Sunday the women will compete in driving, while the men will start in the relay.
