The second was German Denise Hermannová (+24 s) and the third Norwegian Marte Olsbu Röiselandová with a loss of 29.9 s.

Paulína Fialková started from the 25th position with a gap of 1:13 behind Eckhoff. Her first shot on the bench turned out to be excellent and she moved to 15th place. She maintained 100% success on the second bed and reached an excellent result. The first handstand could tell a lot, which she did very well again and left the shooting range in fifth place with a ten-second shortage on the podium.

However, her hope was taken away by the last shooting, when she missed two targets. Despite two penalty circuits, she remained in the top 10 and finished in 9th place. She improved her season high by four places when she finished 13th in the sprint at the World Championships in Pokljuk, Slovenia in February.

Her sister also started well, bleached the first two beds and moved to 31st place. But then she hesitated on the first handstand, after which she headed for two penalty circuits. She repeated two mistakes on the last visit to the shooting range and finally classified her in the 40th place with a deficit of 3: 18.5 minutes to Eckhoff.

The leader of the overall evaluation of the World Championships benefited from a great run, when she did not do very well at the shooting range. She completed the beds without a mistake, but after the first hand she had to go to the penalty round and after the second even to two.
