During the WC, Mona Brorsson announced that she will end her career after the season. Thus, Sunday’s mass start was the end of a long career.
At the goal line, she was received by the entire Swedish team, and after a long celebration, Brorsson was lyrical about the reception.

– I am extremely satisfied with my entire career, and so nice to finish with all of these. I couldn’t have imagined anything better.

In the mixed zone, both teammates and competitors wanted to pay tribute to the Swede.
