Bharada E Ready to Become a Justice Collaborator in the Case of the Death of Brigadier J

Jakarta

Deolipa Yumara, legal authority Bharada Richard Eliezer alias Bharada E, stated that his client would volunteer as a justice collaborator (JC). Bharada E is ready to become JC in the case of the death of Brigadier Nofriansyah Yoshua Hutabarat alias Brigadier J.

“Of course we see that it is important to protect now the key witness, even though he is a suspect, but it is important that we agree that we will present the person concerned (Bharada E) as a justice collaborator,” said Deolipa at the Police Criminal Investigation Department building, Saturday (6/8/2022).

Deolipa said Bharada E would also ask for legal protection from the Witness and Victim Protection Agency (LPSK). The plan is that Bharada E will visit LPSK on Monday (8/8) tomorrow.

“And we also ask for legal protection from LPSK. We will try on Monday morning,” he said.

Deolipa then explained the reason why Bharada E was ready to become a JC and asked LPSK for legal protection. He saw that Bharada E could be a key witness in the case of the death of Brigadier J.

“We are of the view that what he went through is a key situation that could be a bright spot in this case, one of which is what happened to him (Bharada E),” explained Deolipa.

In his confession, Bharada E had admitted that he was not comfortable with what had happened to him. This was revealed by Bharada E when he met Deolipa in person at the Criminal Investigation Department.

“We met, of course, between clients, so we met at the Criminal Investigation Department, then we volunteered as attorneys and he accepted it well, so a power of attorney was made as of August 6, 2022,” said Deolipa.

“In his position, for the first time, he started to tell something that made him uncomfortable all this time in his experience of dealing with things that happened to him, so he told a lot and we really asked him to talk from heart to heart, it’s up to him, whatever it is and he told it in detail complete that he experienced,” he continued.
