Next Saturday, September 24th, Herten companies are invited to take part in a charity tournament at 12 noon in Teichstrasse 20. The great sporting ambition will be out of place. Press spokesman Stefan Seifert explains what it is: “Participants should just have fun.” In so doing, they also do good.
In this corporate donation tournament, Backumer Tal’s mini golfers feed, to put it bluntly, a piggy bank. Proceeds from the campaign will benefit the Gerald Asamoah Foundation. “Many of our members are Schalke fans. You are happy to help a former Schalke player, “says Seifert. At the premiere of the tournament before the crown pandemic, the people of Herten were able to present the former football pro about € 300.” We want to get through this, “explains the spokesperson for BGV Backumer Tal.
The organizer has already played the drum and managed to win over some companies. Spontaneous people are also welcome on Saturday afternoons. No prior registration is required. The participating companies independently determine the amount of the registration fee.
Herten club players take care of corporate teams
To eliminate the shyness of newcomers to minigolf, the host club provides support: each team of three can be professionally assisted by a player of the club during the two rounds.
Physical well-being is taken care of and young visitors can expect a bouncy castle.
