Natalie Portman, a star of Star Wars, graduated in psychology from Harvard in 2003. After making her debut in the movie “Leon” at the age of 12, she went on to star in several successful films before to go to Harvard. She later said that she suffered from an internal conflict over her intelligence and decided to get a college degree to prove she wasn’t just a “dumb actress”.
Will Ferrell
Will Ferrell, a famous comedic actor, received his degree in sports information from the University of Southern California in 1990. In 2017, he received an honorary doctorate of humane letters from the same university. He joked that the sports news program was so difficult that they canceled it eight years after he left.
Mayim Bialik
Mayim Bialik is known for her role in the television series “The Big Bang Theory”, but few people know that she is also a neuroscientist. She received her doctorate in neuroscience from the University of Southern California. She has also written several books on parenthood and puberty, and continues to work in the medical field.

Ashton Kutcher, actor and businessman, earned his degree in biochemical engineering at the University of Iowa. He studied biochemistry in hopes of finding a cure for the heart disease his twin brother suffers from.
Bradley Cooper
Bradley Cooper, actor, director and producer, graduated in English from Georgetown University. He wrote his thesis on the book “Lolita” by Vladimir Nabokov. He said he loved reading so much that he cried while reading “Romeo and Juliet” in the college library.
JK Rowling
JK Rowling, the author of Harry Potter, studied French, Greek and Roman studies at the University of Exeter. Her parents wanted her to study a professional course, but she opted for modern languages. She described this choice as a compromise that did not satisfy anyone, but she is now known for her love of languages and for being a prolific writer.

Brian May, guitarist for the band Queen, graduated with a degree with first class honors in physics in the 1970s. In 2007, he continued his studies and obtained a doctorate in astrophysics from Imperial College London.
