The question of whether economic growth and saving the world are compatible concerns not only the political and economic elite, but also society at large. In view of global challenges such as the COVID-19 pandemic, the energy crisis and rising prices, it is becoming increasingly clear that things cannot go on as before. But how can we shape an economy that is not only geared towards growth and profit, but also promotes the saving of our planet and the common good of all? How do we show that economic growth and sustainability do not necessarily have to be in conflict with each other? For a future worth living for coming generations, the cooperation of all actors – companies, governments and consumers is more in demand than ever. Discussing this with PULS 24 moderator Isabella Richtar: Michael Strugl (CEO VERBUND), Paula Dorten (climate activist Fridays For Future), Walter Oblin (CFO Österreichische Post) and Marc Buckley (lawyer & founder of ALOHAS Regenerative Foundation).
