Beyoncé’s mother revealed a secret about her daughter on the Halloween episode of Sherri, admitting that Beyoncé can be “really mean” while changing costumes at parties.
“I told her, ‘Girl, you’re getting really mean out there,’ and I’m really happy that I don’t have to go backstage anymore,” Tina said on “Cherry.”
She added: “I understand that. Imagine that you are trying to put on your shoes, and everyone is waiting for you. If someone makes a mistake or loses a shoe, you will ruin the whole show.”
Although things may get heated behind the scenes, Beyoncé’s mother confirmed that her daughter always apologizes for the things she says in the heat of the moment. Tina added: She immediately says to me, ‘I’m so sorry, Mama,’ and I say, ‘I know that. Sometimes she cries, and I know she cries because she regrets the crazy things she said.’
Tina also revealed that Beyoncé wanted to have more than one hairstylist during the tour, and has already hired four people. She confirmed that the star had more than 600 outfits to choose from, so she still had 150 outfits that she had not worn yet, and added: “She wore at least four or five new outfits every night.”
