This time the rumors were (partly) true: after Bruce Springsteen, Beyoncé also showed up at a Kamala Harris rally. It all happened yesterday in Houston, Texas, where the artist arrived on stage accompanied by her former bandmate Kelly Rowland to speak in front of 30 thousand people. Compared to what was thought, however, Beyoncé did not perform Freedomhis song used for the Vice President’s election campaign.
«We are on the verge of a huge change. I’m not here as a famous person. I’m not here as a politician. I’m here as a mother,” Beyoncé said in a speech that lasted a few minutes. “A mother who cares about the world our children live in, a world where we have the freedom to control our bodies, a world where we are not divided by our past or present or future.”
«We are all part of something much bigger. We have to vote and we need you,” he added. «Let’s do it like this. Ladies and gentlemen, give a big and loud welcome to Texas to the next president of the United States, Kamala Harris.”
In one of his speeches, Trump commented ironically: “Biden is asleep, while Kamala is having a party with Beyoncé.”
